1. SA Veterans Day at Hemisfair: Join the fourth annual celebration honoring veterans with live music, food, beverages, and military displays. The event is free and family-friendly, taking place from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hemisfair Park. 

2. Veterans Day Ceremony at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery: A traditional tribute to honor veterans, featuring a keynote speaker and musical performances. The ceremony begins at 9:00 a.m.

**Discounts:**

1. Golden Corral: Offers a free dinner to active and former military members from 5:00 p.m. until close as part of their Military Appreciation Night. A valid military ID or proof of service is required. 

2. San Antonio Zoo: Throughout November, active-duty, retired, and veteran members of the military, National Guard, and reserves enjoy free admission.

3. Hard Rock Café San Antonio: Known for supporting the military, offering discounts to military personnel with a valid ID. 

4. Six Flags Fiesta Texas: Active and retired military receive discounted admission after online verification.

5. Sofia's Pizzeria: Veterans and active-duty military members can receive one free slice of pizza on Veterans Day from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at their three San Antonio locations.

6. Applebee's: Offers a free meal from a select menu to veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day. valid military ID is required.

7. Bar Louie: Provides a free craft burger to active-duty military and veterans who dine in with a valid ID.

8. IHOP: Offers a free stack of pancakes for veterans and active-duty military from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The offer is available for dine-in only.

9. Joe’s Crab Shack: Veterans get 20% off their meal when they dine in from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Must show valid military ID. 

10. Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ: Active-duty military and veterans get a complimentary meal (choice between a pulled pork sandwich or fried chicken) on Veterans Day.Dine-in only.Must provide proof of service.
